First-time applicants applying for admission into Sefako Makgatho Health Science University 2026-2027 are to begin the online application from the 1st of April 2025 for undergraduate and postgraduate studies through to the 31st of July and 29th of August 2025, respectively.  After applicants have been successful in the application period, they will then proceed to register for the course they want to study.

• Registration for all returning students will begin on 09 January 2026.
• The academic year for returning students will commence on 15 January 2026.

• Registration for all FTENS (First-Time Entering New Students) will start on 22 January 2026.
