Applicants who are willing to apply online for admission into postgraduate courses at the Walter Sisulu University for the academic year are to visit the official website of the university to access the postgraduate application platform through this link http://itsapp.cle.intra.wsu.ac.za:7771/pls/prodi03/gen.gw1pkg.gw1view. During the online applications, applicants are to make sure they have a working email address and also upload the required documents.
If your location do not support internet and you would like to apply manually for admission into postgraduate courses at WSU for 2026, you can visit the admission office at the central office or any of the offices of the various campuses to apply. The application form must be completed in detail and signed by the prospective student and his/her parent or guardian. The completed form must be sent to the Office of the Registrar at Walter Sisulu University on or before 30 September for the Faculty of Health Sciences and 31 October for other faculties to be enrolled in the following year.
Both local and international applicants are invited to apply for admission to study with flexibility. How Long Will You Study In Postgraduate Courses At WSU
Master’s Degrees:
- For Master’s full-time students, the minimum period of study is one year, and the maximum period is four years. For Master’s part-time students, the minimum period is two years and the maximum is five years.

Doctoral Degrees:
- For Doctoral full-time students, the minimum period of registration is two years, and the maximum period is five years.
- For Doctoral part-time students, the minimum period of registration is three years, and the maximum period is seven years.
